Nua Sound Therapy

Our Healing Journey
About me and my journey into sound..
Music has always been a passion of mine. Long before becoming a sound practitioner, I held an ambition to create and produce music. Healthcare became the more practical career path, and what began as an opportunity developed into over 14 years of working closely with people.
My career as an HCPC-registered Paramedic has taken me through emergency medicine and NHS primary care. Along the way, I discovered that one of my greatest strengths is my ability to listen, communicate and genuinely connect with people.
I've thought more about the importance of making space for the things that genuinely inspire us. It's something I now consider when talking to my own children about their futures and following their passions.
Sound therapy is a natural meeting point between two important parts of my life — my experience of working with people and my passion for music and sound.
As a practising Holistic Sound Practitioner, I continue to explore sound, learn new instruments and develop my understanding of music and production. I am still on that journey, and for me it's about continuing to learn, create and discover where sound and human connection can take me.
My approach is grounded and person-centred. I use sound, rhythm and a calm, supportive environment to encourage deep relaxation, support nervous-system regulation and create space to slow down, reconnect and find a greater sense of balance.
